The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused
Valet Parking Attendant to join our team! Our Valet Parking Attendants work a Part-Time, PRN schedule. The shifts are 4:30pm to 8:30pm, holidays, weekdays and/or weekends. Our Valet Parking Attendants are responsible for maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times in addition to parking resident vehicles, greeting residents and guests, and performing transportation duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Valet Parking Attendant: - Efficiently performs pick-up and delivery of members for all scheduled campus activities where transportation is needed in a warm and safe manner.
- When vehicles arrive will open doors and greet members and guests by name.
- Carefully help members and guest who need assistance. Retrieve/Replace walkers, wheelchairs, etc., and assist when a need is perceived.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Cypress vehicles, inside and out.
- Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: - Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver license and maintain a "clean" driving record.
- Previous Valet experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
- Ability to fully comprehend others and communicate in a respectful, understanding, and empathetic manner demonstrating tolerance and exemplary customer service.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
- Exposure to weather elements e.g., rain, cold, heat, etc.
- Frequently must be able to get in and out of automobiles and drive short distances for resident pick-up and deliveries.
- Must be able to continuously walk or jog on a hilly plane to park and retrieve vehicles.
