Aerotek  is recruiting for several  DIRECT PLACEMENT  opportunities for a large growing company in  Goose Creek, South Carolina . Looking for candidates with 3-5+ of experience working in heavy industrial environments. All jobs are a rotating shift but have potential to be straight shift once immersed in the company. Train on day shift (6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday) for 1-4 months roughly (depending on learning knowledge) then move to shift. INSTANT pay increase of 9.58% shift differential once moved to shift (approximately an extra $3/hr).

Electrical Technician Job Description:

• Must demonstrate the ability to comply with all plant PPE requirements and safety protocols.

• Must possess the skills and abilities to work autonomously while conducting routine electrical tasks.

• Familiar with the handling, operation and safe use of all types of electrical equipment including motors, generators, transformers, rectifiers, switches, circuit breakers, relay, control equipment, communication equipment, electronic and fluid controls, power generation, transmission and distribution system, instruments, panel boards, replacement parts and supplies, wire and cable, insulating materials, solder, paint, etc.

• Safe and efficient use of electrical maintenance tools and equipment including electrical testing and measuring equipment.

Top Skills for a GREAT CANDIDATE:

  • Working knowledge on PLCs, ladder logic, Motor, proximity switches, limit switches, VSD, 480V motor, RS Logic
  • Experience working in heavy industrial environments (Steel, Aluminum, Nuclear)

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $78000.00/yr.
